ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1.M. A.

a) BA(Hons) in Public Admn.
                OR
a)BA/B.Sc./B.Com.(Hons) in a subject other than Public Administration with atleast 50% marks in aggregate
              OR
b) Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 50% marks in the subject of Public Admn.
              OR
c) Shastri examination(new scheme) of three year duration of this University in the manner prescribed at (a) and (b) above
              OR
Any other examination recognized by this University as equivalent.

Note: A candidate who has passed BA examination with atleast 45% marks in any of the Social Science subjects shall  also be eligible to take up MA(Public Administration)  SC pass marks in qualifying examination.
2.M. Phil.

Master’s Degree in the relevant subject of the university   OR an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with atleast 2nd division i.e. 50% marks  OR grade ‘C’ in the seven  point scale.(Minimum pass marks in case of SC/ST)

3.Ph. D.

MA/M.Phil with 55% marks
(50% for SC/ST candidates)
